COPPA requires us to keep a child’s information only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, and to publish how long that is. This is that page.
The short version: we keep a child’s information while you keep the account. When you delete the profile, it goes immediately. What we keep afterwards is the proof that we asked your permission properly, and the financial record — neither of which contains anything about your child beyond an internal id.

How deletion actually happens
Deleting a parent account cascades in the database — children, cards, connections, wallets, and orders go with it. A scheduled job purges expired connections and archived cards on the timetable above.

Email privacy@mykidcard.com. We act immediately on a child profile deletion and within 30 days on everything else.
