Every card, every set, one search

Type a player, a character, a set or a card number and the catalog finds the printing: the year, the set, the number, the parallel, a photo you can zoom into and a guide price where one is known. It covers every Pokémon set ever printed, every Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh! set, more than 400 Upper Deck hockey checklists from the 2015-16 season on, and the players of the NHL, MLB and NFL by season. Creating a free KidCard account is all it takes to use it.

What is in it

More than 1.1 million card printings across 2,200 sets, and growing every day: 20,000 Pokémon cards across 176 sets, 110,000 Magic cards across almost 1,000 sets, 44,000 Yu-Gi-Oh! printings, and about 800,000 hockey cards from Upper Deck checklists covering every season since 2015-16. Golf, football and other sports sets are in, and more manufacturers are being added.

Players are indexed too: every NHL skater and goalie since 2005, every MLB player since 2005, and NFL players back to 1974 — so a search for a name finds the person as well as the cards.

How a search works

Search the way you would say it. “Connor McDavid Young Guns”, “Charizard 4/102”, “Blue-Eyes White Dragon”, or just a card number. Filter by game, year or set, set a price range, sort dearest-first, and narrow to rookies, autographs or serial-numbered cards.

Every card with a photo zooms to the source’s full-size image — up to 813 by 1185 pixels for Yu-Gi-Oh!, 672 by 936 for Magic, 654 by 914 for Pokémon — so a kid can check the exact printing against the card in hand.

Where the prices come from

A price is shown only where a source carries one: TCGplayer market via pokemontcg.io, Scryfall’s USD figure for Magic, the eBay or TCGplayer price via ygoprodeck for Yu-Gi-Oh!, and for sports cards KidCard’s own estimate — the median of live eBay asking prices, discounted. Each price names its basis when you hover it. It is a guide, never an offer.

Why an account

The catalog is part of the KidCard family tools: the same account runs the scanner, the binders, the Card Pulse and the shop. An account is free, takes a minute, and is built for parents — a grown-up creates it and decides what each kid can see and do.

Questions parents ask

›Is the card catalog free?

Yes. Create a free KidCard account and the full catalog is yours to search — no card limit, no subscription needed.

›Which games and sports are covered?

Pokémon (every set), Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, hockey (Upper Deck checklists), golf, football and a growing list of other sports sets, plus NHL, MLB and NFL players by season.

›Are the prices real?

They are guide prices from each source’s market data or from KidCard’s own estimate built on live eBay asking prices. They are not offers and not advice — collect what you love.

›Can I see the card photo at full size?

Yes. Click any thumbnail to open the source’s largest image and zoom up to four times, drag to pan, or pinch on a phone.

›Does my kid search the catalog alone?

A parent creates the account. Kids use KidCard in kid mode, where the grown-up decides what is on.
